Data Collection with the Multidimensional Emotional Intelligence Assessment (MEIA)

SIGMA Assessment Systems, Inc. is pleased to introduce the Multidimensional Emotional Intelligence Assessment (MEIA)! The MEIA is a next-generation assessment of Emotional Intelligence (EI) and is the only trait-based, self-report measure of EI with distinct coverage of all 10 components of Salovey and Mayer's (1990) influential EI model.

We are currently seeking opportunties to enhance the normative database for the MEIA. If you are interested in conducting research with the MEIA or providing us with access to a test population, please contact us to discuss the research process and special discounts that are available.

Please consider the following guidelines when submitting your application:

• We are looking for research with diverse populations.
• We are interested in studies that show a link to outcomes.
• The research should enhance the understanding of emotional intelligence and have the potential to be published.
• The research must be of high quality with a sound method. That is, the method can yield results that are valid and reliable, there is an adequate sample size, and there is control of extraneous factors that can impact the results.
• Other constructs (e.g., personality, cognitive ability, etc.) included in the study should be assessed with well established and validated measures whenever possible.
